ABOUT US
Chief Executive Officer
John Thornewill
A seasoned entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience across technology, gaming and startups, John is the creative spark behind Red Nought. With several successful exits under his belt, he focuses on high-level innovation and dreaming up the "next big thing" for the team to bring to life.
A lifelong tinkerer and car restorer. If he isn't in a workshop bringing a vehicle back to life, he’s probably coming up with a new idea to add to Rachel's checklist.
Chief Operations Officer
Rachel Barton
With over 12 years in senior management and a nearly two-decade partnership with John across three successful ventures, Rachel is the strategic engine that makes the magic happen. She specializes in bringing calm, checklist-driven precision to complex business operations.
Outside the office you’ll find Rachel playing bass guitar, baking cakes, or quoting Red Dwarf, just don’t ask her to visit the sloths at the zoo!
Chief Technical Officer
Tim Ellis
With 12+ years of Unity expertise, Tim has been the technical architect behind John’s ventures since leaving university. He’s the "builder" of the trio, turning ambitious concepts into high-performance reality.
An anime fan who spends his weekends in Magic: The Gathering battles with his family. He specializes in coding the "impossible" and making sure John’s ideas stay within the lines of Rachel’s checklists.
Marketing Consultant
Andriana Sosnovska
Currently studying Business Management at Glasgow Caledonian University, Andriana is a powerhouse of fresh ideas and enthusiasm. Having impressed the leadership team at a previous venture, she was a "must-have" for the Red Nought launch, where she now helps drive the brand’s marketing strategy.
When she isn't hitting the books or brainstorming growth hacks, Andriana is either teaching dance or scouting out a departure lounge for her next travel adventure.
