Hattie Kongaunruan, Artist

As an artist currently going through a Develop Your Creative Practice fund, where I'm trying to develop new skills in digital gaming, I was really lost with the direction of how to approach it. There are so many — such expansive — areas to learn.

Working with Red Nought and being able to pass a lot of the complicated gaming aspects over was really helpful. It allowed me, as an artist, to focus on the game narrative and just on 3D modelling — transforming my sculptural practice into the 3D world.

The other thing I really enjoyed about working with them was that you made everything so accessible and easy to understand. When I've worked with other people in the tech sector, they talk at 100 miles per hour, and I can't keep up — especially being very new to this environment.

But when we worked together, everything was broken down. I could ask anything and not feel like it was a silly question — and I'd get a genuine, understandable response that I could work from and carry forward as part of my learning.

Hi, I’m Paul, and I’m the CEO of Avalandia Ltd.

We’ve been working with Red Nought for approximately six months, and in that time, they’ve truly excelled. They’ve now become our preferred supplier when we’re looking to add new VR experiences to our portfolio.

It’s been really easy to work with Red Nought from day one. It’s not just the quality of their work, but also the speed at which they’re able to deliver. For us as a company, that’s game-changing.

It’s allowed us to be more flexible in how we customise and tailor our VR experiences — directly to client requirements and requests — and to do so in a fraction of the time and cost.

Our ongoing partnership continues to benefit Avalandia, not just now, but as we grow and expand into new market sectors such as health and well-being.

Overall, I would highly recommend Red Nought.

Freya Shaw

Hi, I'm Freya—founder and chief programmer at Immersion Sound Studio. We've been partnering with Red Nought for about two to three months now.

At Immersion Sound Studio, we develop accessible software for blind and visually impaired users. Right now, we’re working on the Hodr Engine—a game engine that empowers both blind and sighted players and developers to create video games.

As a solo developer, I’ve found the process challenging at times. But now, it doesn’t feel like just a project—it feels like I’m flying alongside a truly talented and dedicated group of developers and creatives.

I’m incredibly excited to be working with them to bring something to life that I believe will make a real, meaningful difference in the world.

I think Red Nought is playing a vital role in the UK’s gaming infrastructure, and I can’t wait to see what else we’re able to create together.
